Jay-Z has never played at the Super Bowl. That changes on Feb. 14, 2027, when he performs the halftime show at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

The NFL, Apple Music and the artist announced the booking on Monday. Roc Nation, which has produced the halftime show since 2019, recently signed a five-year extension to keep the role through 2029. Since taking over, the network has leaned into hip-hop and rap. Last year’s show in Santa Clara, California, featured Bad Bunny with guest appearances by Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin.

The Los Angeles venue has hosted major Super Bowl halftimes before. The 2022 show featured Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar, with cameos by 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak. More recent performers include Kendrick Lamar and SZA in 2025, Usher in 2024, and Rihanna in 2023.

Jay-Z is currently touring to mark the 30th anniversary of his debut studio album, “Reasonable Doubt,” and the 25th anniversary of “The Blueprint.” The 25-time Grammy winner opened the tour with three nights at Yankee Stadium in July. He then played two shows in London and one in Paris in September.

His final scheduled tour dates were Oct. 23 and 24 at SoFi Stadium. Those performances now serve as a direct warm-up for his upcoming Super Bowl set.
