Jay-Z will perform the halftime show for the 2027 Super Bowl on February 14 at SoFi Stadium. The rapper secured the slot through his production company, Roc Nation, which has partnered with the NFL to produce the event since 2019. As a key decision-maker for the halftime lineup, Jay-Z selected himself as the headliner for the upcoming game.

The NFL has not yet determined which teams will compete in the championship game. The identities of the finalists will be revealed on the last day of January. Until then, the focus remains on the musical production and the potential guest list that could accompany the headliner.

Beyonce is a primary candidate for a special guest appearance. She has been married to Jay-Z since 2018 and the couple has three children. The two artists have a long history of collaboration, including tracks such as "Crazy in Love" and "Drunk in Love." They have also toured together, establishing a pattern of sharing the same stage. Beyonce previously performed at the 2016 Super Bowl halftime show alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars. She also sang the national anthem in 2001 in Houston and performed during the 2024 Christmas Day game in her hometown.

Rihanna is another strong possibility for the guest list. Jay-Z discovered her in 2005 while serving as CEO of Def Jam Records. She later signed with Roc Nation in 2010. The two have recorded songs including "Umbrella" and "Run This Town." Rihanna made a surprise guest appearance at Jay-Z's recent tour at Yankee Stadium. She also served as the headliner for the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show, where she announced her pregnancy.

Blu Ivy Carter, the couple's oldest child, is a third name linked to the performance. She performed as a dancer during her mother's 2024 Christmas Day halftime show in Houston and joined the Cowboy Carter tour in the same role. She frequently attends NFL games with her father and has a large fanbase among concertgoers.

Eminem rounds out the list of potential guests. He recently joined Jay-Z on stage during his current tour. The two rappers collaborated on the track "Renegade" for the album The Blueprint. Eminem also performed as a special guest at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show.
