Chicago Couple Marries In Eagles Lot H With Philly Pops, Kelce On Hand

Lindsey Carl and Brandon Byrd were married Monday evening in Lot H at Lincoln Financial Field before the Eagles game, in a ceremony sponsored by Garage Beer and produced with the Philly Pops.

Vince Rizzuto, CEO of TrueFan Travel, said the idea came together over the summer: "Over the summer, we had Garage Beer reach out to us about doing a wedding, and we had our relationship with the Philly Pops. They wanted to perform at a tailgate. So, we put two and two together."

Carl and Byrd live in Chicago and follow the Eagles through a fan group and two bars they frequent on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays, according to Carl. They entered after seeing a Garage Beer promotion on Instagram. "We had to submit a 90-second video that we had to go all out for," Carl said.

Byrd described the pitch: "The main part was just 'Go Birds' because we're going to be the Byrds. That was the gist of it. And how much we love the Eagles, and that we'll drink Garage Beer for the rest of our lives." The couple learned they had been selected about two and a half weeks before the wedding.

The ceremony included Jason Kelce and Beau Allen walking down the aisle handing out beers. Phillies alumnus Shane Victorino helped officiate. The Philly Pops played before, during and after the vows, for family and friends who traveled for the event.

Carl wore a wedding dress with Eagles cowgirl boots. Byrd wore a green suit, Eagles socks and a feather on his jacket. Carl walked a green aisle accompanied by her father.
